We’re like family.”
Our Resale/thrift store is run by a small paid managerial staff and a host of faithful volunteers. Repurposed volunteers spend time at the store helping to sort & price donations, maintaining orderly displays and racks, cleaning, providing handyman assistance where necessary, and assisting or waiting on customers. Other volunteers may help to coordinate or participate in our monthly furniture donation pick-up runs. Some volunteers may also assist in collecting necessary donations for weekly distribution by our street outreach teams.
Volunteering at the store may be a weekly or monthly commitment, or may be a one-time group volunteer opportunity. One of the great perks of volunteering in our store is you’ll receive a 25% volunteer discount!
You can volunteer at the store in two different ways:
1. As an individual
We have people who volunteer once a month or a few times a week.
We are looking for shifts from 2-4 hour, the shift would be any time during store hours Monday - Saturday 10-7 PM
Our biggest shift needs are:
- Evenings
- Fridays
- Saturdays
But we are happy to have you any time you can help!
2. In a small Group
You can get groups of friends together and come volunteer for a few hours.
What do Volunteers Do?
- Help run the register
- Help to assist customers
- Keep the store neat and clean
- Sort through donations and get them onto the selling floor
- Help with furniture pick ups
- Handyman jobs
